494 High Street Northcote has been conceptualised to complement the iconic heritage buildings and light commercial spaces that make the area so unique. Materials have been used that reflect the values of the surrounding community. The boutique building features only five homes. Four 2 bedrooms and one 3 bedroom penthouse. Each includes a private balcony and loads of natural light.

Sustainable life.

Life in such an perfect location should ideally leave a small footprint. We have embedded as many sustainable features into this modern structure as possible to achieve this.

The building is constructed from natural raw concrete material which is far more energy efficient. The development’s roof will harvest sunlight via an impressive photovoltaic Solar PV system, supplying electricity for the common spaces and providing electricity for the building, including lighting, pumps and fans. This will off-set a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions.

The building also features bulk solar hot water and collected rainwater for the toilets. Apartments feature energy efficient appliances such as cooktops, air conditioning units and dishwashers. In addition, Bettastone Benchtops are used throughout which are made from recycled Australian glass, so it’s easy to utilise green power for your lifestyle.
